An enchanting double room with a modern en suite shower room offering a heated towel rail. The bed is draped with the Bird House Quilt, this was hand crafted by a relative of the current owners. The room looks into the Manor's extensive front garden and the 150-year-old, Wellingtonian, Sequoia tree. With the addition of a travel cot, this room is suitable for a couple and one child.

The Bird House Quilt was hand-cut, machine stitched and quilted by Lillian, a Canadian cousin of the proprietors. It consists of twelve, 20 inch square quilt blocks each containing one or more bird houses and is constructed of the best quality 100% cotton fabrics. The blocks are sewn in what is called an “Attic Window” setting.

The room offers a complimentary hospitality tray with a selection of teas, coffee, hot chocolate, mineral water and biscuits. There is a television, radio alarm clock and hair dryer for your convenience.
