A comfortable twin room with en suite shower room. The beds are each covered with a Muskoka quilt, these were hand crafted by a relative of the current owners. The room overlooks an 18th Century Grade II Listed home originally built for the Manor's farm manager and our courtyard. Dogs are accepted in this room, please confirm at time of booking.
The Muskoka Quilts were hand-cut, machine stitched and quilted by Lillian a Canadian cousin of the proprietors. They consist of three types of quilt blocks; pre-printed scenic panels, pre-printed floral panels and log cabin blocks. They were created in the Muskoka region of Northern Ontario, Canada and are constructed of the highest quality 100% cotton fabrics. There are three wooden plaques on the wall which are made of Western Red Cedar. They were bought back from Canada as gifts and the pictures on them depict the stories of Indian folklore.
