Room 9 - Stuart

This charming superior room with king-size bed with en suite bathroom with heated towel rail. Highlighted with a king size quilt named the Pansy Patch, which was hand crafted by a relative of the current owners. The room has a spectacular view looking out over the South Tyne Valley and onto Alston Moor. With the addition of a travel cot and or a fold-up bed, this room is suitable for families.

The Pansy Patch Quilt was hand-cut, machine stitched and quilted by Lillian, a Canadian cousin of the proprietors. It consists of eight main quilt blocks down the centre of the quilt each block applying the vibrant colours that many Pansies are found in. Each block is positioned to form a diamond or placed “on point”. The bordering fabrics represent the outside sectors of a garden. This quilt is constructed of the best quality 100% cotton fabrics and was crafted in the Haliburton Highlands region of Northern Ontario, Canada.

The room offers a complimentary hospitality tray with a selection of teas, coffee, hot chocolate, mineral water and biscuits. There is a television, DVD player, CD/radio alarm clock and hair dryer for your convenience. Please feel free to bring your own CD's & DVD's with you.
