Room 7

A cheerful double room with a modern en suite shower room offering a heated towel rail. The bed is dressed with the Jewel Box quilt, which was hand crafted by a relative of the current owners. The room looks into the Manor's extensive front garden and the 150-year-old, Wellingtonian, Sequoia tree.

The Jewel Box Garden Quilt was hand cut and appliquéd, machine stitched and quilted by Lillian a Canadian cousin of the proprietors. It consists of large and small squares, and triangles of fabric in beiges, purples, greens and reds representing the diamond jewel. The hand appliqué work is an added touch to bring more colour and sentiment to the quilt. The quilt was created in 2004 in the North of Ontario, Canada. The room has an excellent view of the Red Squirrel feeder on the Sequoia Tree.

The room offers a complimentary hospitality tray with a selection of teas, coffee, hot chocolate, mineral water and biscuits. There is a television, radio alarm clock and hair dryer for your convenience.
